This is my favorite place for drinks, food, live music and hookah.Service is good, food is good, drinks are good.The music is a little bit to loud, I think they should get a new sound system.I like the place because they don't rush you.(of course if you are consuming)I like the live music.I like the place also because they have few TVs📺 you can watch your favorite sport, just ask the bartender if he can change the channel ( I always ask in the nice way, because sometimes if you are rude they don't do it)

Overall good experience its a nice place music a llitle loud the waiters are nice but at the end when we finish our food after 5 minutes the gave us the check they almost kick us out of the restaurant

My favorite restaurant in The Bronx by far! The atmosphere is always light and the food is always excellent, the drinks are pricey but they do have happy hour during the week. The bathrooms are crazy small but I’m sure you will make it work once you have the food!

IT USE TO BE SUCH A CLASSY PLACE MANY YRS AGO. LINENS ON THE TABLES, NOT SO DARK, NOT SO LOUD. WHEN THE WAITER CAME TO GET OUR ORDER HE COULDN'T HEAR ME, SO I TOLD HIM, WHY DON'T U GUYS LOWER THAT MUSIC. THEY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE US WATER. NOW U CAN SMOKE THAT PIPE THINGS, SO U CAN IMAGINE HAVING A NICE DINNER AND INHALE THAT. WHAT A SHAME. THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD, BUT THE PLACE IS JUST A HANG OUT PLACE

Nice food, nice drink, bartender is awesome also the server...Try the paella balenciaga. Ps. Place a little to dark to eat at 3pm

The food and drinks consistency is on point! Food is great and plenty. The drinks are well-balanced and effective 🍹😜. Two 👍👍 for the bartenders. Very welcoming environment even though the place is more on the cozy side. The restaurant in the evening is a bit dim. It gives somewhat of a nice ambiance. Its especially nice when they have live band/performances on Friday nights (small stage though). The waiters are pleasant and always make sure you have what you need.

Delicious food! I ordered the seafood jumbo which a big plate for two with shrimp, calamari and pieces of lobster all fried 🤤 It hit the spot! I ordered a blue drink 🍹 delicious! I definitely recommend this place. The service was prefect, we didn’t need to ask for more water, drinks or order our food the person assisting us was taking good care of us.

One of my all time favorite places and it’s been around for so long, it’s like a relic to me. The aesthetic of this place always intrigues me because it makes you feel like you’re in a cave of some sort. The pina coladas are to die for as is every drink, and the food is usually great. Big portions, hooka available although I’m not a fan and the entertainment always varies. It’s cool to come here if you like the Latino culture because they usually have live performances.

Food is delicious 😋. Have gone there with friends, family, and co-workers and we love the variety of food they serve. Would recommend to others!

Okay This was one of my favorite places , been coming here for 20 yrs , every so often they change the rules which ok I understand but when they change everything that does not benefit us as a customer not one bit it’s not a good thing , and maybe it was because every time I ordered food I was tipsy , now trying the food with a straight head , it’s not that great , they have roaches , which I noticed with a straight head ... Sorry but it’s not a cheap restaurant so we expect certain things.. Not my favorite anymore .. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s a really great place. The music and the food is the best!. It’s perfect for a casual night or whatever u have in mind. They have the best service and very good margaritas and piñas coladas!

Great atmosphere especially after a hard day of work. They always draw a crowd. Drinks are on point. My favorite is the Golden Margarita....And the Montezuma Mussels!!

This is my favorite dish from Montezuma, the paella valenciana. I've never had a bad experience with them. Food is always on point. The place is very clean even though it's in kingsbridge. And the owner is very friendly.

Food was Ok. Food tasted bland. I got beef chilaquiles. Normally this dish should be spicy. It was very disappointing dish. Very bland. The people that I was with ordered posole. Another disappointment. No seasoned well. I wouldnt recommend this place.

Food is always on point. The waiters are always pleasant. Some of the waitresses need a refresher course on customer service.

Continuing to find totally underrated spots in the Bronx. A quick eat for me and my lady today. They have all the easy go to Mexican cuisine as well as other dishes. The food was of good quality and the presentation was about seven shades prettier than anticipated. A delightful surprise from the kingsbridge community

Great place. Yummy margaritas for $5 all night on Tuesdays! Elianna is the best server in the entire restaurant! Food was amazing.

There are 2 extremely important issues I have with this restaurant chain. Number 1, is if they make a mistake on your order, they don't nothing to compensate you for there wrong. Number 2, and the most important is, an I've caught the 3 different times in the past 7 years reusing the salsa from patrons. On one accation we found chewed bubble gum in our salsa

Place is awesome. A bar that serves food. Great place for happy hour if you are into that. Service was okay but it was a weekday so maybe it may differ. Could be a little more careful with the dish washing and cleaning, my glass of water had lip gloss on. Not a lot of light so you can't really see what you are eating. Food was reheated didn't taste too good, and I was hungry lol.

Their out door dining in front of the restaurant is not compliant! The chairs are kissing the other tables chairs lol What's worse is that people dining are ok with it 2 people tables on the street! Where you have major traffic and fumes from exhaust. Big fail. Stick to takeout.

Love this place only reason why I gave a 4 star is because of the hookah smoking in a place you are suppose to sit and eat ... Fridays they have someone sing. Very good ambience they just should sit hookaj smokers seperate or something.

I took my wife to dinner on her birthday to this restaurant. I placed an order of shrimp fajitas the shrimp were refríed and burnt. I told the waiter and he did not replace meal. My wife’s order was salty and neither of us were able to finish our meal. I just to visit this restaurant for many years and thought it would visit it after several years of not going their. What a disappointment I will not be returning.

The only thing I don't like is that it's always dark in there. Otherwise, great food, great drinks n great music.

Service is stellar, at Montezuma. The food is great tasting & the prices are reasonable. My children & I dine there often. Happy hour menu is awesome, too. Staff is friendly, attentive & polite. The music is always great & we love the dim lighting. It's just a beautiful place to spend time.

Very nice place. Gets very crowded,but not in a bad way. Staff was amazing, my waiter went beyond good service. And the food was AMAZING! Good job, keep doing whatever it is you are doing. I will be back.👍👍👍

Good Mexican and Tex Mex cuisine at a very reasonable price. Atmosphere is a dark cantina feel. The guacamole is fantastic.
